Community Outreach

The doctors and staff at Eye Care Group strongly believe in community outreach and community support. Our team participates in several local outreach organizations to help those in need of eyecare. Some of the organizations we work with and support are The Lions Club, both in Grants Pass and Cave Junction, The Gospel Rescue Mission, The Boys & Girls Club, Hearts with a Mission, all local schools throughout our region and so many more.

Supporting Orphans in Uganda

​There is also a huge need of eyecare services around the world. Eye Care Group has partnered with KIDS in Uganda, a Christian outreach organization that supports orphans in Uganda.

Through very generous donations of equipment and finances we have been able to build a full service vision clinic in Koboko Uganda! This clinic provides onsite eye exams and glasses fabrication to the local community via short term mission trips and eye care professionals with a heart to serve. The primary focus is to make sure that orphans have their eye care and glasses needs met, so they can continue their education. Additionally, services will be provided to the community at large as there are no ophthalmic services currently available.
